How to get the most out of your new products.

Step 1 pad is the most coarse and should be used sparingly. It is really only needed to remove stain and ridges. In doing this is it takes a layer of the nail off. Most people can do this once a month with no problem but others don't have enough nail to spare so be careful not to over use it.
Also, don't be tempted to use this pad to shape the nail. It is too coarse to file the edges of the nail smoothly. I know that it is tempting because it gets the job done faster than the stone.
The few systems that have been returned by dissatisfied customers show that the #1 pad was used on the edge. No wonder their splitting continued. Use the stone ONLY on the edges of the nails.

Step 2 pad doesn't look like its doing much but it is an important step. The buffing action brings oils to the surface of the nail. These oils are used by the step 3 pad to make the high gloss shine that puts a protective seal on the surface of the nail. This buffing also increases blood flow to the nail bed and matrix where the nail is formed which makes a healthier nail.

Our Pads and Unique Crystal Stone are of the highest quality. They are made to last a very long time, however need to be washed regularly. Natural oils from your hands and nails get on the pads and diminish their effectivness. Simply wash them in warm soapy water. I do mine at the kitchen sink. Just wet them and use a little dish detergent on each, rinse and lay on a paper towel to dry.
The stone actually works at removing cuticles or dry skin more quickly when it is wet.
